Platform Service fees

In Dubai, Airbnb typically retains around 15% of the nightly rate and cleaning fee as its host service fee. While Terms and Conditions may vary, this amount is generally consistent across bookings, though online searches can sometimes yield conflicting figures due to different wording.

Other popular platforms like Booking.com, VRBO, and Expedia operate with similar commission structures.

Annual DTCM Unit Permit Fees

To register your property with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), an Annual Unit Permit fee applies, which is covered by the property owner or investor once a year.
This fee is modest and based on the number of bedrooms:

  • Studio/1 Bedroom: 370 AED

  • 2 Bedroom: 670 AED

  • 3 Bedroom: 970 AED

  • 4 Bedroom: 1,270 AED

    While the property owner is responsible for the fee, your Holiday Home operator handles all necessary administrative tasks to complete the registration process smoothly.
